Using my first deodrant. I was happy to buy it because its natural etc but some things are making me reach for my usual supermarket deodrant instead. (I even packed my supermarket one for a current trip im on on now rather than my new Vico deodrant.
1. Its leaves flakyness that falls on the floor or my dressing table or my clothes.
2. The packaging is very annoying. I cant get the lid back on properly and its hard to push up the product. Which makes it annoying. I appreciate you are trying to use recycleable materials but im mainly buying the product because it it natural ingredients on my skin. So id rather have better packaging (even good plastic. Eg. BPA) and be able to put the lid on. Sure i can recycle the product later with plastics anyway after.

Im not sure in would buy again because of the packaging. I could get used to the flakyness of the deodrant but not the packang. Considering i took my supermarket deodrant away on vacation with me rather than the Vico says a lot. If the packaging improved i will buy again. I want the natural deodrant but not the annoying packaging.

It's a nice deodorant but definitely not as strong in scent as the Wexford Strawberry so I was a little disappointed

Our deodorant is suitable for sensitive skin. We have minimised the use of ingredients like baking soda to ensure that people do not get rashes associated with other natural deodorant brands.

How It All Began ..

"I tried loads of natural deodorants, but they either didn’t work, irritated my skin, or were expensive and still came in plastic. I didn’t want to go back to regular antiperspirants, so during lockdown I started making my own deodorant in the kitchen. After a lot of trial and error, one thing led to another and Vico Naturals was born. 5 years later, we’re still making our products by hand in small batches in Cork. What started as one deodorant has now grown into deodorants, soaps and body wash, with more on the way."

Always wait until the deodorant has dried before putting on clothing. This will make sure that your clothes don't get stained.
Tap the bottom of the deodorant on a hard surface after using it or push the deodorant back down with your thumb. Do not use the lid to push the deodorant back down as this could cause damage to the deodorant.
