First things first, watch this video before you use the deodorant.

Only use a small amount of deodorant at a time, 2-3 swipes should do the trick.

Always wait until the deodorant has dried before putting on clothing. This will make sure that your clothes don't get stained. 

We do not use preservatives. As such, the top layer of your deodorant might be a little dry when you receive it. Simply apply a small amount to the back of your hand to soften and then you'll be good to go. 

Our deodorant tube is made from cardboard. Somtimes our natural oils can soak through and stain the tube. But don't worry, this does not affect deodorant performance. 

When applying, pinch the side of the tube. Pinching the tube will stop it sliding down. Watch this video for instructions.

Like other brands, one of the challenges of working with eco friendly packaging is that there is sometimes extra deodorant left at the bottom of the tube.

This last piece of deodorant can be hard to use.

To make up for it, we now give around 85 grams of deodorant as opposed to 75 grams. So if you decide to not use the last piece, you won't be losing out on money!

With that said, some of our customers have found ways of using this last piece of deodorant.

Some of our customers use the last piece as a putty similar to other brands and apply it by hand.

Others sometimes add the last pieces of a few deodorants and put them together into one single tube.

We changed our deodorant tubes about a year ago, previously, our deodorant tubes were filled to the top and weighed 75 grams.

The older tubes were slightly taller and more narrow.

We didn't check our newer tubes properly and continued to fill them to the top, because they were shorter than our previous tubes.

However, after a few months we noticed that our stock levels for ingredients were dropping much quicker than usual. After investigating, it turned out that our newer tubes held much more deodorant than our previous tube.

By filling our deodorants up to the top, we were giving close to 100 grams of deodorant, not 75 grams! We didn't want to increase the price, so we stopped filing them to the top.

We've reduced the amount in our deodorant back down. It's still above the 75 grams, it weighs around 85 grams per deodorant.

We give an extra 10 grams for free as we know that sometimes people find the last bit of deodorant hard to use.

Antiperspirants prevent you from sweating by clogging your pores. They act as a "plug" for your sweat pores. Antiperspirants do this by using the chemical aluminium.

Our deodorant is suitable for sensitive skin. We have minimised the use of ingredients like baking soda to reduce the likelihood of people getting rashes associated with other natural deodorant brands.

It is important to make sure you read all ingredients before using to ensure that you are not sensitive/allergic.

Stop using the deodorant immediately if you have any reaction or rashes. Wash the effected area with warm water and soap to remove the deodorant.

Yes, our deodorant is vegan and cruelty free.

No, Vico will not stain your clothes as long as you do not put excessive amounts on your underarms.

Only use 2-3 swipes per armpit. Wait a few moments until it's dry before putting on clothing.

If your underarm feels very "oily", then you have used too much.

Each regular sized tube contains 75 grams (2.65 oz) of deodorant!

Everyone’s body reacts differently when switching to natural deodorant. If your deodorant doesn’t “work” straight away, your body may be unclogging and detoxifying those nasty chemicals from your pours.
